Gary Hurst has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1978. A graduate of Rutgers Law School, he also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from University of Georgia. Gary majored in English at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Gary began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General at the Georgia Department of Law ---where among his client’s included the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation. After entering private practice, the substantial part of Gary’s legal practice had been devoted to the handling workers’ compensation claims of behalf of employers as well as employees. Since 2019, Gary has been certified as a mediator by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Gary Hurst is looking forward to working with you as a mediator either in person or virtually via Zoom.
